Nupa has served on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters Greater Richmond, Virginia League for Planned Parenthood and The READ Center. Currently, she serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Authority of the City of Richmond, DemBizRVA and serves on the Canvas Advisory Board of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) and on the board of 1708 Gallery. She also serves as the Director of Government Relations for the Cultural Center of India, Virginia (CCIVA) and was co-founder and is a current board member of the American India Foundation (AIF) Richmond Chapter. She is also a supporter of Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) and Fit for Kids.
